Pinnacle is one of the largest neighborhoods on the south side of Lexington (area 3). [Learn more about Pinnacle on its homeowners association Web site.] It is tucked in to the southwest corner of Man-O-War and Tates Creek Road.  Most homes were built between 2000 and 2008, but there is still a small amount of new construction activity.  Prices range from mid $100’s to low $300’s, with the average home being in the low $200’s having approximately 2200sq ft, 4 bedrooms and 2.5 baths and 0.2 acre lot size.  Less than a fourth of these homes have a basement, but those that do will cost you in the upper $200’s to low $300’s.

Community features that appeal to buyers are the Veterans Park Elementary School, the community pool, park, and walking/biking trails as well as nearby shopping, dining, gym, dance studio, and much more!

It is important to note, however, that being in the Pinnacle Neighborhood does not guarantee that your child will attend Veterans Park Elementary.  Since Pinnacle is the largest neighborhood on the south side of town, the homes here fall into one of three different school districts.   If you are choosing this neighborhood because of any specific school, make sure that (a) you check whether the home you are interested in is within the boundaries of the desired school district and (b) that there is capacity in the school for your child.  Discussing your specific search criteria with your professional real estate agent is utmost important.
