About Us

Paul grew up on an organic farm in Idaho.  He served in the Army during Vietnam.  Paul is a graduate of the University of Washington and taught in  Northshore School District  near Seattle Washington before retiring to move to Lexington. Paul also was an organic farmer while teaching.

Paul and his wife Kathy met in Coeur’d Alene, Idaho at North Idaho College.  They have three children and four grandchildren.

Paul began working as a real estate consultant helping people find farmland near Seattle.  Upon moving to Lexington he transitioned to residential real estate but has had recent opportunities to also help people buy and sell farmland.

Paul especially likes to help people understand the value of the land they own, not just the house. Even a very small garden of flowers can bring great joy to the soul. Paul believes the family that gardens together and grows even a little bit of their own food will come to understand the real value of community.

Helping people buy and sell homes and land is of great joy to Paul.  He finds it very rewarding to help his clients know that the buying and selling process is executed with dignity and integrity.

Paul is an active member of First Alliance Church.  He is a shepherd with his wife in children’s ministry, he is active in the Men’s Service team and he serves on the lay ministry team.  Paul is a weekly volunteer with The Lexington Rescue Mission and 4KIDS (a faith community partnership working with middle school youth in Central Ky.  Paul is also on the advisory council for Huntley Haven of Rest (a ministry to pastors, missionaries and their families.)

Born and raised in southern Poland, Dorothy moved to the US when she was 10 years old.  After obtaining a degree in Accounting she spent the first half of her career traveling the globe as an internal auditor.  In the summer of 2000, she was promoted and relocated on a 4yr assignment to Lexington.  Here, she quickly fell in love with the land and the people and decided to make it her permanent home.  Having a passion for those who are new to the area Dorothy enjoys teaching newcomers about all the wonderful things the Lexington area has to offer.

In addition to real estate, Dorothy devotes much of her time to various causes that include protection, development, and education of children.  She had served on the Dixie PTA, on the Dixie School Based Dicision Making (SBDM) Board, and on the Fayette County District PTA as chairman of Academic Initiative Committee.  She has also served in a variety of ministries over the years and currently holds the position of Shepherd over primary grade girls at First Alliance Church.  Dorothy and her husband, Dan, have two young children (Heidi and Holden) and live in the Hamburg area of Lexington.
